De Deel

Recreation room “De Deel” is a cosy space with views over the farmyard and the forest. We have tried to preserve the original structure beautifully, creating an authentic atmosphere. It is a spacious room with central heating and underfloor heating, a large seating area, TV and WiFi, a small bar with kitchenette, and a toilet.

De Loods

The ultimate “party evening” space! Over the past autumn and winter, a lot of work has been done to complete this room. De Loods is located as an extension of the sleeping areas and is comparable in size to De Deel. It is a beautiful, comfortable space with lots of wood, fixed benches along the walls, a cosy seating area, a counter, toilet, underfloor heating, but above all plenty of space.

Kitchen

The large kitchen is separate from the recreation area and is equipped with two dishwashers, a large fridge, a microwave, a six-burner gas stove with oven, a Bravilor coffee machine, a kettle, and sufficient crockery and glassware, as well as plastic tableware.

In the storage room, accessible from the kitchen, there is a chest freezer and a washing machine.

The kitchen has central heating and underfloor heating.

The dormitories:

The dormitories are separate from the living area.

In “De Losse Schuur”: one dormitory with 11 mattresses, one dormitory with 13 mattresses, and a staff room with 2 box-spring beds.

In the section adjacent to the sanitary facilities: two dormitories with 16 mattresses each, and two staff rooms with 2 box-spring beds each.

New is an additional staff room with two bunk beds.

You sleep on raised wooden platforms with mattresses placed next to each other. You bring your own sleeping bag or duvet, pillow, and fitted sheet.

Farm life

Groups staying at De Houtkamp can enjoy life on the farm. Our farm is no longer active as a dairy farm, but we still have young cattle. In addition, we have free-range chickens, whose eggs are sold at the farm gate.
Enjoy rural life with its countryside atmosphere, sounds and smells, the playful goats and lambs in spring, young calves, chicks, the peacock with its beautiful plumage, the friendliness, and the variety!
