Bed & Breakfast
Heerlijk fietsen en wandelen (aan de route van het Trekvogelpad) in een schitterende omgeving met B&B De Houtkamp als gastvrije uitvalsbasis, echt naast nationaal park De Hoge Veluwe.
Maar ook een prima overnachtingsplek als uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan 40 - 45 De Musical in de Midden Nederland hallen in Barneveld!
B&B De Houtkamp ligt centraal, dicht bij de natuur en is op loopafstand van het dorp en goed bereikbaar met het openbaar vervoer. Vanaf de rotonde in Otterlo met busje 106 richting de Hoge Veluwe en vraag even of de chauffeur wil stoppen bij onze B&B.
- Het Bakhuus wordt voor minimaal twee nachten verhuurd. Uitzonderingen daargelaten.
- De Beuk wordt in de zomermaanden in het weekend voor minimaal twee nachten verhuurd.
- De Kastanje wordt voor één nacht verhuurd, uitgezonderd de feestdagen.
Twijfel? Bel gerust even. Uitzonderingen zijn soms mogelijk.
We hebben geen aankomst op zondag en mailen ook niet op zondag.

You are a guest in our atmospheric ‘Bakhuus’, next to our farmhouse.
General:

Beautiful view
From the room you have a beautiful, wide view over the garden, the forest, and the meadow with our young cattle. We have a spacious terrace, accessible directly from the room. In good weather, you can enjoy a freshly prepared, well-served breakfast here. Or simply enjoy all shades of green, the sounds of the animals, and the view (sometimes in the evening a red deer walks across the meadow opposite…). A gluten-free breakfast is available, please let us know in advance. In the evening, you can walk to the village (about 7 minutes) for dinner or a drink. On www.otterlo.nl you can find a selection of restaurants.
Enjoy rural life
At De Houtkamp you can still experience and enjoy rural life, the space, the friendliness, and the hospitality! And the ever-surprising nature of the Veluwe — different in every season. Beautiful cycling and walking routes can be made directly from our farm.
‘t Boere-ommetje
What about ‘t Boere-ommetje, a beautiful cycling route through the countryside with picturesque old farms, alternated with forest and heathland? Or a “Rondje Otterlo”, a walking route that passes special paths, always with the church tower in sight? It was specially created for the 1,150th anniversary of Otterlo. Since 30 October 2010, the Eeskoterpad has been open, a beautiful “Klompenpad” of 15 km. This can also easily be shortened if you prefer a shorter walk. It is also possible to connect to other Klompenpad routes in Wekerom (Beek- en Bultpad) and Harskamp (Harscamperpad).

Dogs (maximum one per room) are welcome, €8 per night.
Check-in: between 3 PM and 6 PM. If you plan to arrive later, please let us know.
Check-out: before 10:30 AM
In the period April – October, we aim to rent out rooms for a minimum of two nights during weekends. One room may, if possible, be available for a one-night stay during weekends.
Payment:
One third in advance. The remaining amount in cash, by mobile payment during your stay, or by bank transfer beforehand.
The deposit also serves as cancellation fees.
Free cancellation is not possible with us, as we are a small-scale accommodation.
